Easy to use even for hobbyists.

Purchase from your usual koi dealer

― From your earlier introduction, it seems that the N-20 feed is quite convenient to use. It appears that hobbyists don’t need to pay special attention to anything when using it, right?

Sakai:It’s completely fine to use even when the water temperature is around 16℃. In high-temperature waters, feeding only N-20 can make the fish grow fat. For tosai, appropriately increasing the proportion of growth feed can make them grow faster. However, for large tosai that exceed 45cm in spring, or even reach 47-48cm, if the proportion of growth feed reaches about 30%, it might lead to a decrease in appetite. At this point, increasing the proportion of N-20 can restore their good appetite.

― If one wants to make the fish more colorful or fatter, is it feasible to use N-20 as a base and then add color-enhancing and growth feeds?
Sakai:It depends on the specific season. For example, you can set the proportion of N-20 at 50%, color-enhancing feed at 30%, and growth feed at 20%. In any case, adjusting the feed ratio according to the water temperature is very important.

― Recent summers have been extremely hot, so in that sense, the value of using N-20 is quite high.
Sakai:It’s a feed that demonstrates its maximum effectiveness during midsummer. Being light and easy to digest without causing fatigue is a significant advantage.

― Could you tell us how enthusiasts can purchase N-20?
Kyorin: It’s handled the same way as our previously released products like Sakai Hikari, so you can purchase it through your affiliated koi dealers.
Sakai:As one of Korin’s products, it will be sold by Kyorin.
Kyorin: The N-20 that Sakai has been using comes in a plain bag with just an N-20 label. However, with this general release, we’ve created new packaging. It’s only available in size L, with 20kg of sinking and floating feed.
Sakai:It can be used year-round from low to high water temperatures, and depending on the season and breeding objectives, it works well not only as N-20 alone but also in combination with color-enhancing and growth-promoting feeds. We highly recommend giving it a try.
